Ye Olde VLC Remote in genetically modified mutant son swap shocker

[] Bristol, United Kingdom – Responding to a customer’s offer of his firstborn son, Hobbyist Software has released Ye Olde VLC Remote. Based on ancient technology from way back in 2002, Hobbyist Software has resurrected a remote that works with VLC 1.1.x. The new (old) remote doesn’t support the iPhone 5 screen, it doesn’t support VLC’s graphical equalizer or album art – but it is a universal build, and it will work on your second generation iPod touch. Sometimes it’s the way you ask:

Hi Rob, You can have my firstborn son if somehow you make your remote, or offer another version, that’s compatible with earlier versions of VLC player.

Is he a hard worker?

Hard worker you ask..?

His DNA was assembled in a super lab; a thoroughbred; part Mensa, part african tiger and pit bull.

This boy has no concept of money or greed, has the persistence training of a Navy Seal but with the steady hands and calm mind of a Monk and has no need for caffeine or sleep.

Released in February 2012, VLC media player 2.0 incorporated a new, cleaner HTTP interface and new features (graphical equalizer and album art). Our new VLC Remote(R) gave users access to the new features and removed the hacks that working with the old VLC media player required. Moving on meant we left anyone not using VLC Media Player 2.0 behind. Ye Olde VLC Remote brings 1.1.x. users back into the fold.

Rob Jonson, CEO of Hobbyist Software says: “I advise almost everybody not to get this app. The new remote is much better. My wife complained when I made her use Ye Olde VLC Remote to watch old episodes of Dallas last night. For those who cannot or will not use VLC 2.0 I hope you enjoy Ye Olde VLC Remote and appreciate Xiren’s sacrifice”.
