[prMac.com] Seattle, Washington – Sea To Software, LLC today is pleased to announce Stampie 1.0, an iPhone app for creating and sharing custom digital postcards. Stampie employs both cameras on the user’s phone to create two images, which are combined to create the postcard. The card is personalized with a postage stamp with the user’s face in it. The postcard also gets a round stamp with the current date and the user’s current city name.
“We wanted to make an app for sharing special moments with your loved ones in a fun and original way,” said Pavel Sorokin, the founder of Sea To Software. “We also wanted it to be sleek and very simple to use. With Stampie, a person can create an amazing virtual postcard, with their own smiling face on the stamp, in less than 5 seconds.”
In addition to using the phone’s cameras, Stampie lets the user use photos from their picture library for the postcard and for the stamp. The stamps can be repositioned on the card and resized with finger gestures in order to achieve the best composition. The final postcards can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, or email, or saved to the phone’s photo library.
