Pizza Factory for Kids for iOS: Prepare Ingredients, Make and Eat Pizzas

[] Sophia-Antipolis, France – A&R Entertainment today is pleased to introduce Pizza Factory for Kids 1.0 for iOS, its free game for kids 2 and older, where they learn to prepare all the ingredients that go into a pizza and all the steps necessary to make a custom pizza ready to go in the oven. Kids make their own pizza dough, and knead it into a variety of shapes. Young chefs fill pizza orders, adding optional toppings, by referring to a thumbnail of the finished pie. Coming out of the oven piping hot, their custom made pizza is ready to eat and save as a photo.

Animated arrows are the only guides in the app; there are no instructions or narration. While the ingredients for pizza dough (flour, oil, water, yeast, and salt) are all in labeled bowls, there is no reading required. Arrows scan down the ingredient list and move from bowl to bowl. All the steps involved are also indicated using arrows that let kids chop, slice, knead, stir, pour, and roll out. Kids can check their progress on a horizontal thermometer indicator, but there is no clock and speed does not affect scoring,

Incorporating an unexpected amount of detail, kids use a rolling pin first horizontally then vertically, again and again, as the dough slowly assumes the proper shape and thickness. The app features custom shaped pizzas like hearts or fish in addition to the normal circular pies. Kids will also cut vegetables before using them to prepare the pizzas.

Feature Highlights:
* Bright, colorful, graphics and animation
* Learn about the art of pizza making
* Learn to recognize and prepare pizza dough and toppings
* Use a rolling pin to create pizzas in custom shapes
* Pop your pizza into the oven, wait ten seconds, and it is ready to eat
* 39 missions and 9 mini-games (including a Ninja who chops vegetables!)
* Save a photo of your finished pizza in the in-app gallery

Each pizza order has a different combination of toppings, and each topping must be placed in the correct position on the pizza, matching the thumbnail. For example, kids will learn to distinguish between red, green, and yellow peppers and tomato slices. Toppings are sliced or chopped, put in a bowl, and then added to the pizza. Pizza Factory lets kids add different kinds of peppers, fish, tomato, calamari, broccoli, egg, onions, olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, gummy bears, chili peppers, ham, and more.

“Completely interactive throughout, Pizza Factory lets kids follow one step after another to make an authentic pizza,” commented Alexandre Minard of A&R Entertainment. “Kids love pizza – and the only thing that’s more fun than eating it is making it!”
