New Vault App Allows You to Encrypt Your Photos and Videos for Free

[] London, United Kingdom – Yappco Ltd. introduces Vault 1.0 for iOS, an app that allows users to store video and photos on an iPhone or iPad in a secure encrypted format. In addition to the passcode on your device, there is a further security gate to go through. In order to access your Vault, you are required to create and input a five-digit code.

Without the code the photos and videos remain encrypted and secure. Should someone gain unapproved access to your iPhone or iPad, say for instance if your passcode lock was set to automatically come on after ten minutes and you are away from your device before that time, you can rest assured that your photos and videos are protected by a 256bit key. Without the five digit secondary passcode your media files remain encrypted. So only you can access them.

Vault allows you to import media files from other cloud sources such as Dropbox. You can also allow access to your camera, camera roll, photo stream, and iTunes sync. For enhanced security the media files are never actually wholly decrypted to your device, only the data required for display at that particular time, after which it remains encrypted and locked in your Vault.

Arkadiusz Mlynarczyk the creator of Vault said, “Vault will be an essential app for professional and amateur photographers alike. I am extremely excited about the launch of this app and have had a lot of encouraging feedback from the beta trial, which has been integrated into the launch version.” When asked what the unique features of the Vault were, he said, “Vault is an easy to use secure premium photo storage app for all and most importantly – it’s Free!”

With Vault you can organize photos, so that they are displayed in albums making them easier to categorize. There are two promotional videos and press pack provided for your convenience.
