[prMac.com] Pleasantville, New York – Artgig Apps is pleased to announce the release of Marble Math 1.2, adding international currencies and iPhone 5 optimization to their popular kids math practice app. Geared for ages 9-12 and up and based on the Common Core Curriculum, Marble Math helps reinforce strategy and problem solving skills as players roll their marble through a math maze. Users can now choose from Australian, Canadian, British and Euro currencies to practice counting money.
Common Sense Media recently selected Marble Math for their Spotlight on Learning, describing the app as “…one of the most fun, customizable, and effective math games available for older elementary school-age kids.”
The object of Marble Math is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as a player rolls or drags their marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems. There is no time limit – children can work at their own pace, and if they get an answer wrong, they have the opportunity to see the correct solution and then try again.
“Our goal is to make Marble Math as flexible as possible to adapt to the specific needs of each individual learner” says Artgig President Matthew Kicinski. “We’ve had many user requests outside of the United States for additional currency options so we made this update a priority. We also also took the opportunity to optimize the game graphics for the larger screen real estate of the iPhone 5.”
