[prMac.com] Pleasantville, New York – Artgig Apps is pleased to announce the release of Marble Math Junior 1.2, adding international currencies and iPhone 5 optimization to their popular kids math practice app. Geared for ages 5-8 and based on the Common Core curriculum, Marble Math Junior helps reinforce strategy and problem solving skills as players roll their marble through a math maze. The addition of Australian, Canadian, British and Euro currencies gives users the option to practice counting money in the currency of their choice. To celebrate the update, Artgig Apps is giving Marble Math Junior away (normally $1.99) today, Friday 11/2.
Marble Math Junior recently received the highest possible rating from Common Sense Media who describes the app as “…one of the most fun, customizable, and effective math games available for early elementary school-age kids.”
The object of Marble Math Junior is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as a player rolls or drags their marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems. There is no time limit – children can work at their own pace, and if they get an answer wrong, they have the opportunity to see the correct solution and then try again.
“We’ve had many user requests outside of the United States for additional currency options so we made this update a priority” says Artgig President Matthew Kicinski. “Our goal is to make Marble Math Junior as flexible as possible to adapt to the specific needs of each individual learner. We’re offering it for free today to make sure everyone gets an opportunity to download the app and try it for themselves.”
