Food RX (Free) 1.0 release for iOS and New Food RX update submitted

[] Atlanta, Georgia – Today Food RX is pleased to announce the free version of their paleo and zone diet iOS application. Food RX is exclusively available for iPhone, and an iPad version is being considered. The app provides extensive resources for simplifying and tracking the paleo and zone diets. Additionally, CrossFit WOD’s and other great resources are included.

Now you can try Food RX for free, which is immediately available on the iTunes store. Enjoy most of the features of the full version of Food RX but the food database and workout database are limited with the number of entries. In the free version you can find paleo foods, calculate zone blocks, log workouts just in limited amounts. The weight tracking feature is fully functional and allows users to set their weight, their goal weight and track their progress.

The full version of Food RX submitted an update yesterday, Saturday January 13th, that includes a massive food database upgrade, social network posting, paleo getting started guide, dropbox syncing and some UI tweaks.

* Additional 6800 foods added to paleo food database
* Foods can be calculated for zone blocks

* Facebook & Twitter posting
