[prMac.com] Singapore, Singapore – goGame, a subsidiary of SEGA, will be launching the English version of COLOPL’s Dragon Project in the App Store and Play Store for the world (excluding China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau and Taiwan) on 29 Sept, 3:00pm (GMT 8). This global launch comes after the successful Southeast Asia launch earlier in August where Dragon Project was featured on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
Dragon Project was first released in Japanese last year and previously ranked #1 in the Japan App Store and Play Store*. This monster-slaying RPG is one of many top-grossing free-to-play mobile games by Japanese developer COLOPL, which includes White Cat Project (published globally as Rune Story), as well as Quiz RPG: The World of Mystic Wiz.
In Dragon Project, players take on the role of Hunters in Heiland, a fantasy kingdom overrun by monsters. Hunters must battle these ferocious monsters and gather precious materials to forge and upgrade weapons and armor. The game features real-time multiplayer co-op play and intense monster-slaying action, and uses COLOPL’s signature one-touch controls, which allows anyone to play the game easily and intuitively with just one finger.
To bring Dragon Project to the world, goGame spent months culturalizing the game and enhancing the user experience. This includes the translation of the Japanese text into over 1.8million English characters, the introduction of new game characters, as well as the optimization of the app to provide players with smoother gameplay. The game will also feature goWrap, a tool developed by goGame that makes it easy for players to access FAQs, connect with the community on social media, or get game support.
“Dragon Project has all the features that’ll get gamers excited. Think stunning 3D graphics, exciting social battles, simple gameplay controls and advanced character customization. But when everything comes together, it offers an immersive monster-slaying experience that’ll also win over their hearts.” David Ng, CEO of goGame remarked.
Gamers around the world can get started on their monster-slaying journey by downloading the free Dragon Project app from the App Store or Play Store from 29 Sept, 3:00pm (GMT 8) onwards. For greater chances of success in the game, they are advised to secure their exclusive in-game rewards by pre-registering on the official website.goGame
