[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland – Time is an abstract concept for children, which is most visible, when children and adults try to communicate about matters of time. The new application Kids Countdown by Idea4e makes the passage of time more tangible and cause, that daily routines like cleaning, teeth brushing and dressing up become for child fun and competitive.
That’s because this app helps children understand how time goes by. You can set the time duration and select favorite animal picture that will be slowly revealing during the countdown. The child can hear enjoyable music and when time is up, he/she will be notified by the sound of the selected animal.
You can use the Kids Countdown to motivate your kid to accomplish tasks in given time, for example to:
* Get ready – our favorite 🙂
* Get dressed
* Brush teeth
* Clean the room
* Make the bed
* Take turns in games
The latest version includes additional functionality that allows to:
* Pick additional 2 music themes
* Select additional animal pictures (cat and cock)
* And our favorite, pick any picture from your photo library or picture just made from the application as a background image
We created this app to make five minutes sound less abstract for our own children. We found it extremely useful and we do hope that you will find it useful too.
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 7.0 or later
* 22.7 MB
