[prMac.com] Paris, France – Deadpan Dodo, the game division of 2D Art Factory S.A.R.L. announces Fast 4 Words 1.2 for iOS. The fast-paced word game, based on the connections our brains make to link words to each other, received a major update this week. The unique concept of Fast 4 Words proved very addictive, and was already able to reach a large audience of gamers of all ages by ensuring very high user retention rates. With this new update, Deadpan Dodo added more content for the existing players, and lots of new social features.
2D Art Factory’s CEO, Dimitri Delattre, commented on the new update, “The retention rate was so high compared to most games that we soon realized that we needed to offer even more to the thousand of our players that already play on a daily basis. Plus, our players have been amazing at proposing new words and new features, that is the way we picked to finally thank them!”
The new update adds more words, faster rewards, some slight gameplay-tuning changes, a Twitter capability, an option to cut the background music, local notifications and new ways to receive free rewards.
The new and very successful fast-paced word game on Apple devices, based on the connections our brains make to link the words to each others, the app has an average of 4.5 stars in the Apple App Store.
This is a unique game concept. For example, with words like Blue, Clouds, Heaven and Up, people usually think about the word Sky, as it is often associated with those words. Human brains record those connections between words and Fast 4 Words uses those links between the words to propose a new genre of gameplay.
