Beau Monde Media launches a photo and video contest entitled, “What Does Luxury Travel Mean to You”, in partnership with f-stop Gear

Canary Warf, London, UK – Beau Monde Traveler, a ground-breaking bi-monthly print, digital magazine and media-rich website which highlights the finest luxury travel experiences, launches a photo and video contest entitled “What Does Luxury Travel Mean To You” for aspiring photographers and videographers. The contest, which is open to photographers and videographers across the globe, provides an opportunity for them to showcase the different ways travel can be luxurious and inspire others to explore unique wonders of the world.

Photographers and videographers from all over the world are invited to participate, sending either one photo or one video that defines luxury travel. The contest will accept photo and video submissions from October 12th to November 18th, 2020, with the winners being announced weekly and the Grand Prize winners being announced November 24th. Each photograph and video must include a creative short description – no more than 25 words – explaining how the image defines luxury travel. In addition, the video must be a minimum length of one minute and no more than five minutes.

Global Editor of Beau Monde Traveler, Hailey Cromwell, announced the launch of the photo and video contest, sharing: “Beau Monde Traveler is a magazine that has set out to inspire our readers with unique travel experiences around the world. This video and photography contest will allow others to share what they consider to be luxury travel and to inspire us with their beautiful and creative short videos and photos. Each week winners and runner ups for video and photography will be announced culminating in the grand prize awards. Contestants stand the chance of winning a 7-days, 6-nights trip and luxury stay in Madagascar or Porto, Portugal. Seeking to encourage budding photographers and videographers and support their career in the Travel Industry, the contest requires the winners to share the content they create while in Madagascar or Porto with the contest organizers and sponsors, for it to be shared subsequently across multiple social media platforms and websites. While the runners-up will receive a gift certificate ranging from $500 to $1,000 from Beau Monde’s partners, f-stop – the leading innovator in adventure camera and carry systems. The aim here is to afford winners the chance to buy the camera accessories they need to further their creative endeavours.

The main sponsor of the event is f-stop. Location sponsors include Madagascar Endemics & Resorts and CommuniCate Porto.

Weekly voting will run from October 12th to November 18th. The contest is open to photographers over the age of 21. The finalists will comprise the weekly winners and will be evaluated by a panel of judges composed of f-stop staff, top photographers around the world and brand partners. The selection will be based on composition, lighting, storytelling, use of colour and attention to detail. Winners will be notified via email and on Beau Monde Traveler’s Instagram stories.
