SniperSight (10/10): Created to capture the eyesight correction system designed by Dr. Horatio Bates, SniperSight is an app that targets typical eyesight issues and recommends a plan of attack to help you lessen or, in some cases, completely remove the issue entirely, leaving you with eyes that perform better.
Scalar Pro Calculator (9.5/10): While the normal calculator app you have on your Android device may be sufficient for such simple tasks, you need a heavy weight computing machine to perform more involved equations and to create more than just numerical answers. Scalar Pro is the app that can take your Android and will give you the tools you need to perform interesting mathematical equations, create new ones on the fly using some scripting magic and then view your results in graphical format.
U-Nest (9/10): You don’t have to be a financial planner to be prepared for the day your child is ready to start college. What you do need is a good savings plan, and one of the first and foremost ways to save for college is the 529 College Savings Plan account. U-Nest is an app that packages account creation and management into one place.
Covert Alert (8.5/10): Mace, pepper spray, and small alarm gadgets all provide great ways to possible stop an attack when it’s actually happening. What is better is being able to do something a bit more preventive before it gets to the point of having to fend off an attack. Covert Alert is just such an app. It allows the user to send out a covert alert message to designated contacts so they know you may be in a potentially dangerous situation.
UberGif (8/10): This is an iOS app that will take a live photo and will convert it into a GIF, so you can share what you took as a picture, but it will show as a GIF. UberGif has access to those photos, so what it does is take them all and puts every one of them together to assemble a small video clip or GIF. The app also allows you to order refrigerator magnets of those photos, as well – kind of a keepsake of a moment, and they make great gifts.
