Known for its innovative control scheme and unique art style, Autumn Dynasty turns the traditional Chinese watercolour map into epic battlefields, where players can use simple brush strokes and gestures on the touch screen to direct command armies and direct attacks. This intuitive control scheme has made it possible to adapt the full real time strategy experience for mobile devices, allowing players to train units, construct buildings, conduct research and invoke special abilities without a steep learning curve.
On account of these controls, Autumn Dynasty has been featured in the Appstore Best of 2012 ‘New Ways to Play’ category for iPad. The Universal edition has been redesigned from the ground up for the small screen, allowing internet and bluetooth multiplayer match-ups between the iPod touch, iPad or iPhone, while still keeping players on an even footing.
